1. Who operates this service

PDFint8 is operated by Eugen Ionescu as an individual under the trading name PDFint8, at Danziger Straße 81, 54516 Wittlich, Germany. Contact: support@pdfint8.com.

2. What the service does

PDFint8 lets you upload a file, photograph a document with your device camera, or paste text, and receive AI-generated analysis of it: summaries, detected document characteristics, and — for paid analyses — findings, obligations, financial terms, dates, renewal and termination information, points to review and answers to questions about that document.

Photographed pages, image files and scanned PDFs without a text layer are read as images. Up to 15 such pages are processed per submission, in the order you confirm. Pages that cannot be read reliably are flagged so you can retake them; text that is genuinely illegible is marked as unreadable and is never guessed.

3. Classification, CHECKs and prices

Before any price or credit is confirmed, your document is classified from its own text to determine which CHECK applies. The classification identifies the document type, how many documents the submission contains and how confident that reading is. It never sets a price: every price and every eligibility rule comes from our server-side CHECK catalogue.

• Where the reading is confident, the applicable CHECK and its fixed price are shown before payment.
• Where the reading is uncertain, you are asked to confirm the document type from a controlled list. A document clearly identified as a Specialized category cannot be reclassified as a general document.
• Where the document cannot be identified with enough certainty, you are asked for a clearer or additional page. Nothing is charged and no credit is used.
• Where a submission contains separate documents falling under different CHECKs, this is shown to you before payment and checkout is blocked. We do not merge them into one price, multiply prices silently, or offer a bundle price that does not exist.
• General Document CHECK credits apply only to documents eligible for the General Document CHECK. They do not cover Specialized CHECKs, which each have their own fixed price.

4. Limitations of AI analysis

Output is generated by artificial intelligence and may be incomplete or incorrect. It is informational only. PDFint8 is not a law firm, lawyer, accountant, financial adviser or tax adviser, and nothing produced by the service constitutes legal, financial, tax or accounting advice or a compliance certification. You remain responsible for your decisions and should obtain professional advice for important or ambiguous matters.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload documents you are not authorized to process;
• upload unlawful content, malware, or content infringing third-party rights;
• attempt to access other users' documents or results;
• circumvent usage limits, payment, or technical protections;
• use the service to build a competing dataset or model.

6. Your documents

You keep all rights in the documents you submit. You must be authorized to process every document you upload or photograph, including where it concerns other people. You grant PDFint8 only the permission needed to process them and produce your results, including transmission to the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy. Please remove or redact sensitive personal information that is not necessary for the analysis before submitting.

The uploaded file and any photographs are processed in memory and are never stored. The text read from them, the analysis results, the classification record and any questions and answers are stored for up to 30 days from the creation of the analysis and are then deleted automatically. You can delete an analysis earlier at any time from the result page or from your account; deletion is permanent, the result link stops working, and a deleted analysis cannot be restored or re-opened even if it was paid for. Payment records are kept separately for accounting purposes and contain no document content.

7. Accounts

Free tools and single analyses do not require an account. Where account features are offered, you are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for keeping access to your account secure.

8. Payments and credits

A single General Document CHECK costs €4.99 as a one-time payment. A package of five General Document CHECKs costs €19.99 as a one-time payment and requires an account so the remaining analyses can be stored. Specialized CHECKs are priced individually in the CHECK catalogue and are always paid separately; General Document credits cannot be used for them. There is no subscription and no recurring billing. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.

A credit is used only when you explicitly start the full analysis of an eligible document, never during upload, page reading, classification or the free preview. An analysis that fails does not consume a purchased analysis: the credit is returned to your balance and you can retry. Because the analysis is delivered immediately as a digital result, a purchased analysis that has been produced is not refundable; if the analysis was charged but not delivered, contact us and we will refund or restore it.

9. Intellectual property

The service, its software, design and brand belong to the operator. The analysis output generated for your document is yours to use for your own purposes.

10. Availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Maintenance, third-party outages and technical faults may interrupt it. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected analysis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including mandatory consumer rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached or where required by law.

13. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by German law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. We may update these terms; the version published here applies to your use.
