- Is the PDF summarizer really free?
- Yes. You upload a document and receive the summary, with no payment and no account. The published limits apply: 8 MB per file, 40 pages, and 3 free questions per document. These exist to control processing costs, not to hold your result back.
- How accurate is the summary?
- The summary is generated strictly from the text in your document. It does not add facts, figures or clauses that are not there. Where the document is ambiguous, the summary says so rather than guessing.
- Can I summarize a Word document or plain text?
- Yes. PDF, DOCX and TXT files all work, and you can paste text directly if you do not have a file.
- Why doesn't my scanned PDF work?
- A scanned PDF is a picture of a page with no text layer, so there is nothing to read. Optical character recognition is not part of the service yet, and we would rather tell you than return an invented summary.
- Can I get the summary in a different language than the document?
- Yes. Choose your results language before uploading. A German contract can be summarized in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese or Romanian.
- What happens after the free summary?
- If your document is a contract, agreement, policy or financial document, PDFint8 tells you which deeper areas it actually detected inside it. You can then choose a full analysis for €4.99. If the document does not support a deeper analysis, nothing is offered.
