How PDFint8 analyzes documents
This page describes what actually happens to a document you submit, in the order it happens. It describes the implemented behaviour of the product, not an aspiration.
1. Reading the document
A PDF, DOCX or TXT file is read for its text layer. Pasted text is used as supplied. Files are limited to 8 MB and 40 pages.
If a PDF contains no usable text layer — a scan, in other words — the pages are read as images instead, using the same AI provider that performs the analysis.
2. Photographs of paper documents
You can photograph a paper document page by page with your phone camera, review the pages, reorder them, rotate them, delete a page or retake it before anything is submitted.
Photographed pages are read as images, in the order you confirm, up to 15 pages per submission.
Pages that are too dark, blurred or cropped to read are reported as unreadable. Text is never invented to fill a gap, and you are asked to retake the page instead.
3. Identifying the document
Before any payment or credit is used, the extracted text is classified: what kind of document this is, how confident that reading is, and what evidence in the text supports it. The classifier also detects whether the upload contains one document, a document with annexes, several related documents, or unrelated documents.
High confidence: the document type and the single applicable CHECK price are shown directly.
Medium confidence: you are asked to confirm the type from a short, controlled list before anything is charged.
Low confidence: no CHECK is offered and nothing is charged. You are asked for a clearer or more complete copy.
Unsupported combinations — for example unrelated documents submitted together — are blocked before payment rather than merged or charged twice.
4. Pricing
The AI identifies the document. It never sets a price. Every price comes from a server-side CHECK catalog, and the price shown to you is the one charged.
General Document credits apply only to general documents. Specialized CHECKs have their own fixed prices and cannot be paid for with General credits — this is stated before you pay, not after.
5. The free result
Before any payment you receive a genuine result: the document's language, the detected type, the page and document count, and a real summary of what the document is. It is not a locked teaser.
6. The full CHECK
A full CHECK analyses the document against the focus of the CHECK that applies to it, and reports findings, obligations, financial terms, dates and points that deserve attention.
Findings are drawn from your document. Where the text allows it, a finding points back to the part of the document it came from. Documents that are referenced but were not supplied are reported as missing rather than assumed.
If an analysis fails after payment or after a credit is used, the credit is returned automatically.
7. Limits and honesty
PDFint8 produces AI-generated informational analysis. It can be incomplete or wrong. It is not a law firm, an accountant or a tax adviser, and it does not assess whether a clause is valid or enforceable where you live.
For decisions with significant financial or legal consequences, have the document reviewed by a qualified professional.
