About PDFint8

Why it exists

Most people sign documents they have not fully read, not out of carelessness but because the documents are long, repetitive and written for other lawyers. The part that matters — a notice period, an automatic renewal, a penalty, a clause that quietly shifts liability — is rarely where you would look for it. PDFint8 exists to surface those parts in plain language, from your own document, without turning every agreement into a scare story.

How it works

1. 1. You submit a document. Photograph it with your phone, upload a file (PDF, DOCX, TXT, JPG or PNG), or paste the text. Photographed pages, images and scanned PDFs without a text layer are read page by page as images, in the order you confirm, and pages too blurry to read are flagged so you can retake them. No account is needed for a first result, and the published limits are 8 MB and 40 pages per document.
2. 2. The document is identified. Its own text is read to determine what kind of document it is and how many documents the submission contains. That determines which CHECK applies — the classification never sets a price. Every price comes from our CHECK catalogue, and if the document cannot be identified confidently you are asked for a clearer page instead of being charged.
3. 3. You get the free result. Whichever of the 8 free tools you used delivers what its page promises, in full, along with the document's detected language and type.
4. 4. You see what was actually detected. If your document supports a deeper analysis — a probation clause, a renewal window, a payment penalty — you are told which areas were found in your text, before paying anything. If nothing deeper is there, nothing is offered.
5. 5. You decide. A General Document CHECK costs €4.99 as a one-time payment, or €19.99 for five. Specialized CHECKs — employment, rental, used car, commercial lease and business purchase — have their own fixed prices in the CHECK catalogue and are paid separately; General Document credits do not cover them. There is no subscription.

What the AI will and will not do

Every statement in an analysis is grounded in the document you uploaded. When something is not in the text, the analysis says it was not found rather than inventing it, and findings are never manufactured to push you toward a purchase. AI-generated analysis can still contain errors or miss things, so it is informational rather than authoritative.

PDFint8 is not a law firm, lawyer, accountant, tax adviser or financial adviser, and it does not replace one. For anything high-stakes or ambiguous, have a qualified professional review the document.

Your documents

Uploaded documents are processed to produce your result and are never published, listed publicly or made available to search engines. The original file and any photographs you take are not stored: only the extracted text and your results are kept. Analysis pages are private and marked so that crawlers do not index them. Only submit documents you are authorised to process, and remove sensitive personal information that the analysis does not need. The privacy policy describes in detail what is stored, for how long and who processes it.
